About The House of Pools
Pools bring people together. That's the idea behind The House of Pools: friendly sports competitions, familiar faces, bold predictions, and plenty of stories to tell afterward.
How it started
It started with Chuck “The Commish” Chuckwalla, a pool, and an invitation to friends. Chuck discovered that a little friendly competition gave everyone another reason to get together, talk sports, cheer, argue over picks, and laugh about spectacularly wrong predictions.
What began as a gathering of friends grew into The House of Pools, where the people and the stories matter just as much as the standings.
How it works
Each pool has its own format, rules, timing, and way to follow results. Some focus on draft picks, some on brackets, and others on squares. Participants can check the current standings, review their picks, and celebrate their victories—or start preparing excuses.
We call our pool points Ducks. Explore each pool's page for its specific rules and participation details.
Meet the personalities
Chuck may be the commissioner, but he has company. Javy, Gordie, Ricky, Milton, Toby, Roxy, Sting, and Raúl bring their own quirks to the House. There's a character for almost every kind of sports fan.
